Sharon has practised as a Family Solicitor in Doncaster for 23 years with particular experience in resolving complex financial disputes for married and cohabiting partners. Advising on pre and post-nuptial agreements, businesses and asset preservation. Sharon has a wealth of experience in supporting people through challenging times, with a focus on resolving matters in a conciliatory manner. When court proceedings are necessary these are conducted with expertise and an emphasis on achieving the best outcome for the client.

What are of law do you specialise in?

I specialise in Family law with particular emphasis on financial matters arising out of divorce and separation and asset protection. I am Training principal for the Firm and am committed to developing the skills and awareness of every member of staff.

How many years have you worked in your area?

I qualified as a Solicitor in 1999, having begun training in Doncaster 2 years earlier. I have 25 years’ experience of working in Family law.

What is the best part of working for Taylor Bracewell?

I have been with the Firm since July 2018. I have been impressed with the close-knit, helpful and friendly atmosphere. Striving to do the very best for clients is clearly important to everyone in the Firm and TB strive to support every member of staff in their endeavours to do this.

What do you find most rewarding about your job?

As family lawyers we are entrusted with helping people at one of the most difficult times of their lives. To know that I can provide guidance and support through this time and help pave the way to a new start is extremely rewarding.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I enjoy spending time with my teenage daughter. I love all things Harry Potter and as the great philosopher Hagrid once said “What’s coming will come and we’ll face it when it does”!
