What is Will Aid?

Will Aid is a huge national campaign which runs every November. Through Will Aid people are encouraged to make a Will through one of the participating firms of Solicitors – of which there are hundreds across the Country.  The Solicitor gives their time for free and prepares your Will in return for a donation being made to Will Aid. The suggested donations are £100 for a single person and £180 for a couple making wills.

All monies raised during the Will Aid campaign go to 9 charities – Action Aid, Age UK, British Red Cross, Christian Air, NSPCC, Save the Children, SCAIF, Sightsavers and Trocaire. The monies raised support the vital work of the nine Will Aid charities to help people in need in the UK and around the world.

How long has Taylor Bracewell been taking part?

We have taken part in Will Aid for many years, we first started Will Aid in 2011. Since then we have raised a grand total of £140,118 earning us the title of 2nd all-time highest donating firm in the UK!

Lauren Smith, Partner & Head of Wills, Probate & Trusts says:

“Will Aid is an excellent opportunity for us as a firm to support leading charities and their mission as well as supporting the local community in protecting their assets and estate in a Will. We will continue to support Will Aid in their annual fundraiser!”

How much did we raise in 2021?

Taylor Bracewell have taken part in the scheme for several years and wanted to try and make this year another successful one…. And we did it!

During Will Aid’s 2021 scheme Taylor Bracewell raised a grand total of £16,775. As a result of fundraising so much, Will Aid has awarded us with the title of Top Fundraising Firm in the UK 2021 out of all the law firms who took part!

Here at Taylor Bracewell we could not be prouder of our achievements and we will continue to do our best to support vital charities and the local community where we can.
