Coronavirus restrictions: Employees returning to work

The advice remains that employees should continue to work from home where they can.

However, if employees cannot work from home, they can now travel to the workplace. Employees do not need to be identified as a key worker to go to work if they cannot work from home.

Employers are encouraged to discuss working arrangements with employees to ensure that steps are taken to facilitate employees working from home, if possible. If an employee cannot work from home, employers should take steps to make sure that the workplace is covid secure.
