Taylor Bracewell at Doncaster Opportunities Live

Here at Taylor Bracewell, we like to give an insight into the work of work to those young adults looking to seek a future career within the law sector.

On the 13^th February, some of our amazing team from both the Sheffield and Doncaster offices had the opportunity to attend Opportunities Doncaster Live event. This is was an event hosted at the Doncaster Racecourse with the intention to engage, exhibit, educate and inspire the people of our future.

We had a several staff attend the event, including everyone from our apprentices to Partners – Clare Ashby, Kerry Johnson, Devon Johnson, Nicola Davidson, Rajdeep Singh, Phil Crawley and Emma Thompson.

Our reason for attending the event was to educate and inspire the younger generation into the world of law. Becoming a Lawyer/Solicitor is not always someone’s first choice of career, but this may be because they aren’t aware of how they can process in the legal world!

We had so many young people engage with us, not only intrigued by our sweets and giant Jenga, but also to see how Taylor Bracewell could give them a future within law!

Many of the young people we spoke to did not realise how an apprenticeship within our law firm can take them to the same place that a law degree at University can!

From all the staff that attended the event, we would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all the people that attended the event and came and spoke to us.

Also, a massive thankyou to Opportunities Doncaster Live for allowing us to attend to inspire and educate the people of our future!
