Scam Will Writing Firm

Alana Benson, director of the Lincolnshire based firm, Indeed Law Limited, is facing trial for offences relating to fraud. The trial which began on the 5^th January is expected to last for 10 weeks. 6 other ex-solicitors are also defendants.

The unregulated Will writing firm was reported in 2016 for failing to complete the work promised and has been labelled as a ‘scam’ by victims. The victim of one daughter told how her mother was scammed into handing over £995 to the company but she died without a Will or Transfer of Trust as she was promised.

Samantha Mobs from Sheffield said her mother was visited in hospital by an employee of Indeed Law Limited and made to sign documents and pay upfront for her funeral plan.
