Good Divorce Week 2018

Good Divorce week is a national campaign run by Family Law organisation Resolution, to raise awareness of key areas and highlight that there are alternatives to the courtroom when it comes to resolving family matters and divorce and separation.

This year, Good Divorce Week is running from 26th to 30th November. It focuses on how separating or divorcing parents can limit the impact of conflict on their children.

One of the biggest worries during divorce and separation is likely to be about your children – worrying where they will live and how they will continue to have a meaningful relationship with both parents.

The Family and Mediation Team at Taylor Bracewell will be supporting Good Divorce Week; A constructive and non-confrontational approach to all family matters.

Resolution have commented: ‘When we first began in the 1980’s, the world of family justice was very different. If you were getting divorced, you almost always ended up in court and it was invariably acrimonious.’
