NO MORE WEEK 2026

Every year, communities across the UK unite for No More Week which runs from 2^nd – 8^th March 2026, a powerful national awareness campaign led by Hestia in support of the global NO MORE movement. In 2026, No More Week once again calls on individuals, workplaces, schools, and organisations to take a stand against domestic abuse and sexual violence — and to say, together, “No more.”

What is No More Week?

No More Week is an annual campaign focused on raising awareness of domestic abuse and sexual violence, encouraging open conversations, and inspiring action. The campaign challenges harmful attitudes, supports survivors, and promotes practical steps everyone can take to create safer communities.

The message is simple but powerful: abuse thrives in silence and change begins when we speak up.

Here are 10 important facts relating to sexual violence and domestic abuse; we hope these provide insight into the drastic and shocking statistics.

1.  In the year ending September 2025, approximately 3.8 million people aged 16+ experienced domestic abuse (2.2 million women and 1.5 million men).
2. Data indicates 1 in 4 women and 1 in 5 men have experienced sexual abuse.
3. In 2024-25, the police recorded crime rate for contact child sexual abuse was 4.75 per 1,000 children
4. Less than one-in-five victims and survivors report to the police.
5. A domestic abuse related call is made to the police every 30 seconds.
6. Each year more than 75,000 people in the UK are at high and imminent risk of being murdered or seriously injured because of domestic abuse.
7. Domestic abuse often begins or escalates during pregnancy. 1 in 3 pregnant women experience domestic abuse.
8. It is estimated that every day almost 30 women attempt suicide as a result of experiencing domestic abuse and every week three women take their own lives.
9. 49% of teenagers in intimate relationships aged between 13-17 in England and Wales experienced violent or controlling behaviour.
10. Young people aged 16-24 were the highest percentage of victims of domestic abuse year ending March 2024.

Why No More Week 2026 Matters

While awareness has grown over the years, domestic and sexual abuse remain urgent issues. Across the UK and globally, millions of people experience abuse in their lifetime.

No More Week 2026 continues to:

• Shine a light on hidden forms of abuse, including coercive control and digital abuse
• Encourage bystanders to safely intervene or seek help
• Support survivors in accessing services
• Promote education in schools and workplaces
• Push for a culture where abuse is never tolerated or excused

In a world increasingly connected online, the campaign also highlights how abuse can extend beyond physical spaces, through harassment, social media monitoring, and image-based abuse such as AI generated images..

No More Week 2026 reminds us that abuse is not inevitable, it is preventable. Through education, empathy, accountability, and collective action, change is possible.
